CONVERGENCE
THE UNION OF SOUND AND COLOUR
"Convergence" is available for viewing at L'Atelier des Lumières in Paris. This immersive experience is a poetic exploration of the birth of synesthesia, it narrates the encounter of sound and colour, where sound vibrations and colors intermingle in unexpected ways. It was part of the Painting Music exhibition cycle, alongside works by Marc Chagall and Paul Klee.

Introduce children to… synesthesia!
Exhibition "Convergence"
Atelier des Lumières • From February 17, 2023 to January 7, 2024
If the Atelier des Lumières knows how to immerse us in an immersive way in the brushstrokes of the established masters, it is also the vector of an ultra-contemporary digital creation. And that’s perhaps what we prefer there, the adequacy between the place, its mission and the know-how of today’s artists proving to be perfectly convincing. Currently, therefore, in parallel with the main programs ("Chagall, Paris-New York" and "Paul Klee"), the work Convergence can be discovered with the family. Signed Pierre Blaise Dionet to music by Charlie Nguyen Kim, it takes us into a whirlwind of colors and shapes evoking synesthesia – this faculty affecting 4 to 6% of the population which allows to associate sounds and colors. Captivating!
