In the Antic Greece, people believed that drinking wine in amethyst glasses would protect them from handovers. This comes from the purple shades of the stone, interpreted as the colour of diluted wine. This 3D study in Houdini reproduces the angled structure of amethyst in opposition of the liquid round shape of a wine drop.
